A weekly in-person yoga class in Santa Barbara, open to everyone. Whether you have never set foot on a mat or have practiced for years, this class is designed to meet you where you are.

Each session moves at a pace that allows the nervous system to actually settle. Expect gentle flow, longer holds, and classical Tantric techniques — mantra, kriya, pranayama — woven throughout rather than added on. The class closes with guided meditation.

No prior experience with yoga, meditation, or Tantric philosophy is needed. No particular level of flexibility, fitness, or familiarity with the practice. Only a willingness to slow down and stay close to your own experience.

Everything you need is already there. Mats, blocks, blankets, and straps are all provided by the studio. Bring your own mat if you prefer, but nothing else is needed.

Wednesday mornings at the Santa Barbara Yoga Center

Reserve online through the studio, or drop in — both are welcome. Arrive a few minutes before 9:15 and someone will get you settled. First time at SBYC, or new to yoga entirely — you are welcome here.
